• Must be a U.S. citizen who is either eligible to vote in Calumet County or a qualified high school student.
• Must not be disqualified from voting (including due to a felony conviction).
• Must not be a candidate for any office on the election’s ballot.
• Must attend required training before each election worked.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must perform duties in a nonpartisan manner.
• Must abide by state and federal election laws

• Register voters
• Issue ballots to registered voters
• Explain how to use the voting equipment
• Process absentee ballots
• Tally write-in votes
• Close the polls
