Offices Closes

All Village Offices are closed Friday, July 3rd. The Yard Waste Site is closed both Friday, July 3rd, and Saturday, July 4th.

Right of Way

Right of Ways (ROW) are public property managed by the village, county, or state.

  • In the Village of Harrison, most ROWs are 66 feet wide for road maintenance.
  • Roads with curb and gutter typically have 37 feet of hard surface and about 14.5 feet of terrace on each side.
  • Roads with ditches usually have 30 feet of hard surface and about 18 feet of ditch or terrace on each side.

Any changes in the Village's ROW (except for mailbox placement or mowing) must be approved by the Department of Public Works. Calumet County approves ROW for county roads, and the Department of Transportation approves for state highways.

Direct completed applications and questions to the Public Works Operations Manager at (920) 989-1062  x 114 or jfunk [at] harrison-wi.org (jfunk[at]harrison-wi[dot]org).
